This is the most important site in Vieste no tourist should ever miss. It is a vertical rocky monolith standing at 25 m (82 ft), located near the Spiaggia del Castello. What makes it even more interesting is its location in the area where the best beaches are located, overlooking the Adriatic sea. There are many myths surrounding Pizzomunno, including that it sometimes disappears. Fishermen while sailing at night have also said that they found it somewhere else, apart from the usual location. All of these are obviously not true, but there is no doubt that it adds to the mystery of the natural structure. Click the next ARROW to see the next photo!
