The floorplan of the cathedral is in the form of a Latin cross. The nave of the cathedral measures 21m in length and 10m in width. There are two side chapels and a huge transept in the cathedral interior. The 10m by 7.8m choir is remarkably unique. The vaults of the apse and the chapels are shaped in the form of a barrel-vault.
