The interior of the cathedral though dark and quite austere is filled with numerous artworks and lots of sculptures. The ceiling of the cathedral has cutting-edge designs of frescoes designed by famous artists like Tommaso Carrega and Maurizio. There are also frescoes on the apse which can be traced to the 15th century. The nave at the right hand has a fresco by II Pancalino, a fresco of the crucifixion with Saints John the Evangelist and Anthony the Great. Click the next ARROW to see the next photo!
