The pulpit of the cathedral erected in the 19th century can be tagged a mini art repository, alongside the Baroque altar dedicated to Saint Guido in the transept. There are many works of art here, but the one worthy of note is the work of art divided into three carved panels which can be left open or folded. The triptych as it is popularly called commemorates the Annunciation. The triptych is dubbed the triptych of the Madonna di Montserrat which translates to the Virgin of Montserrat, and it was created by Bartolome Barmejo, a renowned 15th century Spaniard.
