The main style of architecture of the Cathedral is Romanesque. The ground plan of the Cathedral is shaped in the form of a Latin cross. Initially, the cathedral had 5 aisles up until the 18th century when two became destroyed leaving only three. The structure still has its apses, the crypt, and the transept. The cathedral has a terracotta bell tower whose construction was rounded up in the 15th century. The main entrance of the magnificent church is made entirely of marble. The interior was renovated with Baroque woodwork and lining; the walls are stunning stucco works and frescoes depicting different phases from the 17th century to the 19th. Click the next ARROW to see the next photo!
