The church features a Latin cross floor plan with three naves.. In the 18th century, the façade of the Cathedral was constructed in Baroque style. The original structure has experienced some touches here and there. One of the works that are worthy of note is the brightly painted stucco and terracotta located on the Neoclassical western front.
