Wherever the ancient Greeks go and settle, they always wanted to leave a mark there. One of the things they do is building a theatre for their entertainment, so Taormina has one of such theatres called The Ancient theatre of Taormina. However, there is speculation that the theatre we see today might be Roman, and was built on top of a Greek theatre. Whatever it is, all we know is that the theatre is a lovely addition to the town of Taormina.
