In the south of Melrose lies this very interesting hill offering plenty of tourist adventures. Evacuation on the site has revealed people lived here since the Bronze Age, and it features Ramparts that has been built, destroyed, and then rebuilt. There is a couple of interesting folklore associated with this place including the legend of Thomas the Rhymer and King Arthur. The hills are also good for hiking with their numerous paths. Eildon Two Hills Race is an event you don’t want to miss at all. The annual Eildon Two Hills Race is such an important sporting event that it attracts many runners and pipers.
