This castle was built in the 11th century on the spot of a very old rock known as Torrazzo. For some reasons, the castle has been well preserved, as you can still see and experience the beauty of the architecture. Oldofredi Castle used to be a military outpost where people who are saddled with the responsibility of protecting the village take refuge and strategize to neutralize the enemy.
