Euboea is the second largest island in Greece, after Crete. The oblong-shaped island measures about 180km from the northwestern ends to till southeastern ends. It measures about 4 to 30 miles in breadth and 3,655 square kilometers in area. Euboea is separated by the South Gulf of Euboea and the North Gulf of Euboea.
