Euboea has numerous archeological sites like the Archeological site of Amarynthos, the Archeological site of Archamboli, the Archeological site of Artemisium, the Archaeological site of Dystos and the famous Archaeological Site of Eretria. The iconic Archeological Site of Eretria houses the remarkable temple of Apollo Dafniforos. This temple was once a religious shrine in the heart of the city. The Temple of Iseion was also discovered here. The tomb of Erotes discovered at this archeological site alongside the quaint theatres is some of the oldest structures on the island.
