Records show that Saint Bonaventure was born in this place. Bonaventure was an important scholastic theologian and philosopher, who went on to become Cardinal Bishop of Albano and was afterward canonized on 14 April 1482 by Pope Sixtus IV. Unfortunately, due to the decay that occurred on the hills over the years, his boyhood house has fallen over the edge of the cliff. Click the next ARROW to see the next photo!
