For those who love horses, Cartmel has something quite interesting for you to experience. In a section of the village is a family of beautiful Friesian horses waiting for you to come and ride them. These are well-trained beasts that are very familiar with humans and have become one of the most delightful things for anyone visiting Cartmel to experience. You can ride on hacks, carriage rides, beach rides, and every other thing that you want to do.
