Rome is the home of Amphitheatres. The Verona Arena Amphitheatre is the third largest in the city of Rome. The Colosseum and the Amphitheatre in Capua are the only structures in Rome that dwarf this Amphitheatre. Visitors at the outside cannot be able to view anything happening within its interiors. The mammoth showground is surrounded by about 50 levels of seating in an oval shape. The Verona Arena measures 140meters by 110metres in length and width. The perimeter of the seating stalls of the Arena measures 391 metres while the wing of the arena measures 435meters. Click the next ARROW to see the next photo!
