One of the most significant statues in the Tuileries Garden is The Statue of Renommée. It depicts a king riding on the horse Pegasus and was made by Antoine Coysevox in 1699 and placed on Louis XIV’s estate at Marly. Later in 1719, the statue was moved to Tuileries Garden.
