Italian inventor Guglielmo Marconi was the first to introduce the world to the radio. In 1897, he made the first long-distance radio transmission from the Tea Room, which is now one of the most visited attractions around The Needles. Here, visitors can have all sorts of refreshments like wines, pastries, cakes, and local beers.
