The cathedral is the burial site of many archbishops and iconic figures in the region. These notables were popular people who positive impact in the town from the fifteenth century down to the seventeenth. At the southern door lies a glass urn which houses the remains of San Felice Martire. It is also the burial site of Brandimarte, a knight of Charlemagne who was once the paladin of the king.
