The Taj Mahal located in Uttar Pradesh province of India is one of the scenic structures of Asia.  It was built to honor the third wife of an Emperor Shah Jahan who was named ‘Mumtaz Mahal’.  The Taj Mahal is known as the head of palaces. On seeing the glory of the Taj Mahal, Emperor Jahan decided to build a twin building but in black marble, sadly his dream was truncated by his son who overthrew him. Taj Mahal is one of the most beautiful man-made structures on Earth and these are some interesting facts about the place.
