6Pillboxes and the War

During the Second World War, every part of England had to be protected against foreign invaders. On the mount are three pillboxes, which are used by soldiers as a hideout and to fire weapons. Today, the pillboxes are covered with mossy grass. Also, Nazi Foreign Minister and ambassador to London, Joachim von Ribbentrop, was said to have frequented the island in the 1930s.
