This magnificent octagonal structure Pulpit in the Cathedral is the work of Nicola Pisano and his assistants Lapo di Ricevuto, Giovanni Pisano, and Arnolfo di Cambio, between the fall of 1265 and the fall of 1268. The entire message of the Siena Cathedral Pulpit is focused on the doctrine of Salvation, as well as the Last Judgment. Seven scenes in the topmost level narrate Christ’s Life.
