The Sacre-Coeur is one of the most iconic monuments in France. The basilica was built on the hillock of Montmartre. It bears a striking semblance with the Taj Mahal in India. These are some amazing facts about the Sacre-Coeur basilica you may not know. The Sacre-Coeur basilica was built between the 19th and 20th century in a Romanesque-Byzantine style.
