King Peter of Castile has a section of the patio (lower) which was built for him with inscriptions labeling him as a “sultan”. Several extravagant reception rooms can be found on the sides of the Patio. The center part of the patio has a big rectangular glittery pool with sunken gardens positioned on either side.
