More than 200 bridges cross River Thames. The Romans constructed the first one in London nearly 2000 years ago. It is close to the London Bridge. The longest in the city is the Waterloo Bridge (1,250 feet in length). The green color shade used to paint the Westminster Bridge is same as the leather benches in the House of Commons.
