Architect Juan de Villanueva reconstructed the Plaza Mayor building for the second time in the year 1790. The old Playa Mayor was destroyed by a series of large fires, along with the ongoing construction work that was carried out in the seventeenth century. Click the next ARROW to see the next photo!
