The rich decorations of the exterior part of the cathedral include mosaic, polychrome marble, and many bronze objects gotten from the spoils of war. Griffin was one of the bronze objects gotten in Palermo in the year 1061 and was positioned on the eastern section of the roof. Click the next ARROW to see the next photo!
