Rocca di Dozza or the castle of Dozza, is the most important landmark in the town. Built in the 13th century on top of ancient foundations, the castle had undergone several renovations and restorations after surviving wars. It has original towers, prisons, and justice rooms, and had served as the official residence for an ancient noble family. Visiting the castle is the most important thing when you visit Dozza.
