The present façade of the cathedral was constructed between the thirteenth and early fourteenth century. The main façade along with the contiguous baptistery is one of the most significant Romanesque art monuments in Europe. The façade features a portico with a narthex at the center, to which a Renaissance loggia including three niches was adjoined in 1491. Click the next ARROW to see the next photo!
