At the midpoint of the lunette, you will find the fascinating sculptures of the Virgin and Child which stands between Saints Pantaleon and John the Baptist. These sculptures date back towards the end of the thirteenth century. Right beneath these statues are the faces of saints sculpted into a horizontal beam in the architrave beside the Agnus Dei.
