Constructing a chain bridge that weight 1,500 tones isn’t easy. The bridge is made up of 3,500 load bearing bolts and other chains that are placed underground, spreading 20 miles. Wrought iron for the bridge is collected from the Hungerford chain suspension bridge, which was demolished in 1860. Click the next ARROW to see the next photo!
