Despite its heavy fortifications, Caernarfon Castle suffered major attacks. Madog ap Llywelyn led a rebellion in 1294, Welsh ruler Owain Glyndwr attacked it in the 15th century, and parliamentary forces took it during the 1646 English Civil War. Click the next ARROW to see the next photo!
