The baptistery is the result of several rearrangements and modifications. This building is the third of its kind in the region (Aquileia) and used to be a square floor plan. The floor plan of the baptistery was later replaced by an octagonal one so as to remember the eight day- the Resurrection. Click the next ARROW to see the next photo!
