The Aquileia Cathedral, dedicated to the Virgin Mary and Saints Fortunatus and Hermagora is the primary church in Aquileia town. It is located in the Province of Udine and the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region, Italy. The development of the cathedral design began in the years shortly after 313 AD. During that era, the Edict of Milan ended the religious persecution and the Christian group was legally able to construct its first place of community worship.
