The FIFA Russia World Cup 2018 which is currently taking place in Russia is the 21st World Cup ever since the Championship started in 1930 in Uruguay. Teams are gearing up to win the golden trophy, legends will be made and records will be broken. The big question is; who will win the most coveted prize? The time is now! Without much ado, these are ten interesting facts about the ongoing championship. On the 2nd of December, 2010, Russia made history by winning the bid to host the FIFA World Cup in 2018.
