River Thames has been a major landmark in London for centuries. It is England’s longest river and the second longest in the United Kingdom. Here are 10 interesting facts about a River that is famous all over the world. The famed River is non-tidal in certain areas and tidal in some, that is, its tides can be compared to that of the ocean. The non-tidal part of the River flows from its source about one mile north of Kemble Village to Teddington.
