There are several small special events that take place in the village around the Lake Coghinas. Some of these include the feasts of San Pietro, San Giuseppe and Saints of Coros and the feast of the patron saint, Sant’Elena. The annual Carp Festival is, however, also quite famous and it is held in August usually at the edge of the lake where participants can see and sample many types of fish, especially carp.
