The Altar has a presbytery where the majority of the solemn activities in the church takes place. The presbytery features 5 stained glass windows, double shelves, and the organ. One of the windows depicts the Virgin Mary. The high altar gives a spectacular look to the whole environment. The framework of the altar was made with a Siena onyx. The steps of the altar’s base were made in red porphyric. The bottom of the table was made on white marble Carrara. The Altar has a canteen made of sturdy blocks of Sienese yellow. There are two sacred statues of Saint Peter and Saint Mark. The Altar was sculpted by the famous sculptor; Saccheli di Pietrasanta. Click the next ARROW to see the next photo!
