A survey that was carried out on cryptocurrencies in the US showed that many individuals were still in the dark. A large percentage of them did not know if cryptocurrencies were legal or not and a smaller percentage believed that it was. Also, many people only claimed to know the most popular cryptocurrency; bitcoin but were unaware of other coins like Altcoin or Ethereum.
