The capital of Greece, Athens is one of the oldest in the world. The city is a mix of ancient and Ultra-modern. The first inhabitants of the city migrated to it around the 7th millennium BC. In Athens, you will find a wide range of side attractions like the Acropolis and the Parthenon. Almost half of the population of the country call Athens home. Athens was named after the goddess, Athena. Athena was chosen as the Patron of the city because she brought a symbolic gift of an Olive tree, this made Poseidon unhappy.
