Vatican newspaper L’Osservatore Romano denounced La Dolce Vita, telling people to boycott the film, based on immorality and blasphemy. La Dolce Vita is a great film, no doubt about that. It portrays real situations and characters and will continue to be appreciated, as a classic work of art, for many years to come.
